Warped - Maurissa Guibord I'm not going to officially give this a star rating. If I were a young adult, I would but since I'm an old adult it doesn't seem fair to give it low marks since I'm clearly not the target audience.

I loved the premise: 16th century time -traveling Earl/Unicorn suddenly appears in the bedroom of a plucky teen-aged daughter of a bookseller. Despite the promising premise, it lost steam for me at about the 40% mark. The hero, Will, didn't have enough character development and I found him rather uninteresting and not really worthy of Tessa's affection.

It's pretty squeaky clean (just a couple of heavy kissing scenes) and the heroine is smart and capable. I would recommend it to anyone between the ages of 11 - 17. Anyone older? Not so much.
