The Great Escape - Susan Elizabeth Phillips 2.5 Stars

Susan Elizabeth Phillips found a formula for writing romances and she's sticking to it. So much so that I felt like I had already read this book. It was all so predictable. The heroine who has hit rock bottom. The hero who can't commit. The eclectic new friends the heroine makes. The troubled young teen. The secondary romance. Et cetera, et cetera.

I've been a fan of SEP's books in the past so I don't know if my tepid reaction to this one is because I've read too many others just like it or if the formula she is using is starting to get stale.
