Unveiled (Turner, #1)

Unveiled (Turner, #1) - Courtney Milan This was an enjoyable read but there was a little too much repetitive introspection which kept it from getting a 4 o 5 star. I would rate it a 2.5.

The plot wasn't very involved and the heroine, Margaret kept having the same internal argument over and over again. The book could have been 5 chapters shorter if she had stopped waffling back and forth from believing that she mattered to the hero to siding with her family.

The one aspect I did enjoy was the hero's secret. Unusual for an historical romance and I like how the author handled that as part of the plot. The writing style was nice, too. Pretty prose.

Not sure I'm going to read any more in this series, though.
