Yellowstone Heart Song (Yellowstone Romance, #1)

Yellowstone Heart Song (Yellowstone Romance, #1) - Peggy L. Henderson I love time travel books because I'm a sucker for fish-out-of-water stories. If only the writing had been better and the story a little tighter, this might have been a keeper for me.

The premise of Yellowstone Heart Song is as ridiculous as any other time travel but I really like how the story begins with Aimee already thrown willingly back in time. She's not quite as adept at wilderness survival as she thinks she is and Daniel is forced to take her into his remote cabin and keep her safe. The author doesn't break any new ground in the genre but she does do a great job at building up the sexual tension even if it's done so with clunky and heavy handed prose.

The plot meanders a bit and the resolution of the time travel conundrum dragged on a bit too long. But overall, I had fun reading this book. I might try another in this series with the hope that writing style improves.
